... But sometimes it's more humane to let our Angels go.

Dear Lord, please open your gates and call St. Francis
To come escort this beloved companion across the Rainbow Bridge.
Assign her to a place of honor,
For she has been a faithful servant and has always done her best
Bless the hands that send her to you,
For they are doing so in love and compassion,
Freeing her from pain and suffering.
Grant us the strength to return this sweet Angel to you
Help us remember the details of her life with the love she has shown us.
And grant us the courage to honor her by sharing those memories with others.
Let her remember us as well and let her know that we will always love her.
And when it's our time to pass over into your paradise,
Please allow her to accompany those who will bring us home.
Thank you, Lord, for the gift of her companionship and for the time we've had together.
And thank you, Lord, for comforting us in this time of need. Amen

Mason was a sweet 2023 quarter horse gelding who was a direct ship prospect out of the kill pen. He had a heart as big as his personality who thrived on attention and enjoyed being with people. Unfortunately, his hoof deformity caused the vet to euthanize him to avoid a life of pain. He will always be remembered for his puppy dog personality and huge heart.

Delilah was a cute 2022 Appaloosa mare who was an absolute joy to be around. She was rescued from the Wind River Reservation in 2023. She was a sweet, kind, and cooperative with a friendly, “in your pocket” personality that made her easy to love and enjoy. Due to a fused front foot and other complications, Delilah's vet felt it best to humanely euthanize her in 2026.

Wyatt was a 2015 bay mustang gelding with a striking white face and an exceptionally sweet, lovable personality. Wyatt had a kind, gentle demeanor that makes him easy to be around and hard not to love. He wore a saddle and walked, trotted, and loped on the lunge line. Wyatt tried hard and approached his work with a calm, cooperative atti

Cody was Scott's horse and a true gentleman who was brought to the ranch in 2022. He was put down on Easter (4/5/2026) as a result of a sever infection in his pastern joint. He was known for his calm and experienced demeanor. Because of this, he was one of the first horses we relied on to help look after new rescues. Cody was a wonderful horse and will be dearly missed.

Grayson is a handsome 2020 gelding rescued from a Texas killpen in June, 2024. Grayson aka "McDreamy" was such a beloved young man who sadly arrived at Liberty immunocompromised and needed to be euthanized on 1/5/25 due to complications from colic.

Talulah "Lula" is a Native name meaning leaping waters or fountain of God. When Lula arrived at Liberty she was certain this was her home and she wanted to stay by the water of the creek. Sadly, she arrived at Liberty with strangles and passed from complications.

Luna was a sweet Paws For Life rescue who struggled with medical complications making her deaf in one ear. Sadly, Luna disappeared in 2023.
