Mason

ADOPT OR SPONSOR HEALTHCARE.  Mason is a sweet 2023 quarter horse gelding who was a direct ship prospect out of the kill pen. He has a heart as big as his personality. He is a sweet, loving young horse who thrives on attention and enjoys being groomed, scratched, and interacting with people. Mason loves to play in the field with his human and is always eager to be involved in whatever is going on. Mason was born with a sideways foot, which has made him lame since birth. Despite this, he remains a happy, affectionate, and content colt who approaches life with enthusiasm and joy. He spends his days playing in the paddocks with the other colts and clearly loves life as it comes to him. He stands well for both the farrier and veterinarian and is easy to handle for routine care. Mason is fully up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and has had his teeth floated. He would be best suited as a companion horse where his loving personality and cheerful presence can truly shine. He is the kind of horse that always wants to be part of the action and will regularly bring a smile to your face, whether he is sticking his tongue out at you or joyfully running and bucking around the pasture. He has quickly learned to trust humans and now eagerly approaches to say hello. Gentle and easygoing with a heart of gold, Mason gets along well with all his pasture mates and makes a wonderful companion for other calm, low-key horses.
