DOTTIE

ADOPTABLE -   Dottie is a 2023 Wind River Reservation rescue and sorrel filly with the cutest interrupted stripe on her face—earning her the perfect name. She is a sweet, people-oriented young mare who will meet you at the gate and happily soak up attention. With consistent, patient handling, she continues to make steady progress and shows a willingness to learn. Dottie knows loads of ground work lunges at the walk, trot, and lope on and off line, disengages her hips, shoulders, flexes her head both directions easily. Dottie aims to please she is on the smaller side waiting another year to start her under saddle but she has worn the saddle with no care and done a little line driving. Dottie thrives on interaction but is still learning how to be comfortable standing still and being alone, so she will benefit from continued guidance and reassurance. Dottie stands tied for the veterinarian and the farrier. Dottie is currently up to date on her medical, vaccinations and deworming along with hoof care.
