KINGSTON

Kingston is a 2011 sorrel mustang gelding with a beautiful flaxen mane and tail and a quiet, striking presence. He is a gentle, older soul who prefers solitude and is often content being off on his own, observing from a distance.

Kingston has not been given a fair opportunity to learn about human kindness or affection, and as a result he tends to rely on his fight-or-flight instincts when feeling unsure. While he does show curiosity from time to time, he is most comfortable keeping space between himself and people.

When other horses are not present, Kingston will approach at a distance, showing quiet interest while maintaining his sense of safety. He would do best in a very patient, experienced home or sanctuary-style environment where expectations are low and trust can be built slowly, on his terms.

Kingston is a mustang who deserves a calm, understanding setting that allows him to live peacefully while offering the possibility of gentle connection as trust develops.
