Rowan is a bay 2022 Wind River Reservation pony with a big personality. His name is associated with strength, courage, and wisdom, and is thought to bring luck and protection to its bearer. Rowan is progressing nicely and becoming more comfortable with direct human approach. His willingness to engage and his curious nature are promising signs of his potential to form strong bonds with people.
Personality
Rowan has made significant strides in building his confidence. With patience and gentle interactions, he now approaches people to eat from their hands when they sit quietly. Living among friendly and gregarious herd mates, Rowan is learning through observation that humans can be trusted.

Rowan's beautiful coloring and small stature makes him unique. His quiet determination and growing trust that truly make him special. Watching him take small but meaningful steps toward connection has been incredibly rewarding.

Our precious rescues are available for adoption to vetted and qualified homes. If you are interested in adopting, please reach out to us at info@libertysanctuary.org. Please let us know who you are interested in adopting and why. We would like to get to know you and see your facility so it would be great if you could send us a video tour of your set up. You will be asked to list your veterinarian, farrier and trainer if applicable.
Each Liberty horse comes with Ashley Dudas' Equine Partner Promise and a 1 month subscription to The Savvy Equestrian online learning platform to support you and your new horse in your initial stage of development.
Liberty will co-own the horse with you for its first year. Any horse can be returned to Liberty for any reason.
