Sabrina is a beautiful 2022 grade mare with classic “Black Beauty” looks and an elegant, eye-catching way of moving. She is a refined little mare with presence and athleticism, making her an appealing prospect for the right program. She is currently working through desensitization training and has worn a saddle. Sabrina benefits from a calm, quiet, and confident handler who takes the time to set her up for success. On the ground, she moves well off the lead, backs, pivots, and disengages her hips. Sabrina is naturally shy and takes some time to warm up, but once she builds trust she becomes very much an “in-your-pocket” type of horse and enjoys her person. She stands for both the veterinarian and farrier, though she can be somewhat sensitive with her hind legs and appreciates patient handling. She is well cared for and fully up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and has had her teeth floated this year. Sabrina would be best suited for someone experienced who values a thoughtful approach to training and is looking to bring along a young mare with beauty, movement, and potential.
Sabrina is a sensitive girl with a kind eye. She is a lanky and lithe and would benefit from a consistent, calm leader.
Sabrina has a beautiful and sensitive soul who wants to connect.

Our precious rescues are available for adoption to vetted and qualified homes. If you are interested in adopting, please reach out to us at info@libertysanctuary.org. Please let us know who you are interested in adopting and why. We would like to get to know you and see your facility so it would be great if you could send us a video tour of your set up. You will be asked to list your veterinarian, farrier and trainer if applicable.
Each Liberty horse comes with Ashley Dudas' Equine Partner Promise and a 1 month subscription to The Savvy Equestrian online learning platform to support you and your new horse in your initial stage of development.
Liberty will co-own the horse with you for its first year. Any horse can be returned to Liberty for any reason.
